Support Groups — Stories (BPD Experiences)

Non-BPD experiences
Comments

On these pages we've assembled some posts made by people who have BPD. They explain what it's like to struggle with BPD, discuss how their actions have affected others (and how others' actions have affected them). Many posts suggest ways in which people can best interact with them. We've collected these quotes from personal interviews, the alt.support.personality newsgroup, the Non-BP mailing list, the America Online folders, and other places. We received permission to post them here; in a few instances when we could not find the author, we rewrote the post, changing the words and situations but leaving the basic ideas intact. Thank you all very much for writing down your thoughts and sharing them with us!

WARNING:
There are swear words in here, very strong emotions, and some descriptions of physical and emotional abuse. Please take this into consideration before reading. The writers of these words retain the copyright: they may not be used elsewhere.
