Paul Mason,
M.S., C.P.C
Randi Kreger
Paul
Mason, M.S., C.P.C, is the program manager of Child and
Adolescent Behavioral Health Services at St. Luke's Hospital in
Racine, WI. In addition, as a psychotherapist he specializes in
treating people with borderline personality disorder and their
families.
Mason
became interested in the assessment and treatment of borderline
personality disorder 15 years ago. This lead to his research on
differentiating symptom clusters in patients with BPD, which the
Journal of Clinical Psychology published in November 1992.
Mason,
who specializes in the treatment of people diagnosed with borderline
personality disorder, also teaches seminars for mental health
professionals on the effects of BPD on people who care about them.
Mason
earned his Bachelor's Degree in psychology from the University
of Wisconsin and his Master's Degree in clinical psychology from
Marquette University. He is a member of the American Counseling
Association and the North American Association for Masters in
Psychology (NAMP).

Randi
Kreger is a professional writer and public relations marketing
executive as well as a researchers writer of BPD publications.
Unable to find sufficient information about the effects of BPD
behavior on families and friends, she began researching the issue
on the Internet. Eventually, she collected more than 1,000 stories
from BPs and non-BPs alike; much of Stop Walking on Eggshells
was based on this first-hand research.
Kreger
moderates several non-BP Internet discussion groups and maintains
a comprehensive World Wide Web site about the disorder (www.BPDCentral.com).
Thousands of people have been involved with the discussion groups
over the last five years, many of whom have met in person during
real-world informal get-togethers around the United Stated. Her
site is one of the most well-known on the Net about BPD.
Kreger
is the co-author of two booklets about BPD, Love and Loathing:
Protecting Your Mental Health and Legal Rights When Your Partner
has BPD and Hope for Parents: Helping Your Borderline Son or Daughter
Without Sacrificing Your Family Or Yourself, both published in
1999 by Kreger's Eggshells Press. A short fiction story by Kreger
has been included in Best Women's Erotica, edited by Marcy Sheiner
(2000) Cleis Press.
