BPs

MTMTE
Written by a borderline.

Soul's Self Help Central
Written by a borderline who is a sexual abuse survivor. This site is a bit hard to navigate due to frames and longish download times. However it packs a lot of worthwhile material. One especially good page is "Non-BPs on BPD."

ToddlerTime Presents / Kathi Mental Health Review
A compendium of articles about BPD, object relations, projective identification and much more. Written by a woman who takes a scientific approach, yet benefits from her personal experience as patient in the mental health system. Her scientific work is based on Glen O. Gabbard MD-Menninger Clinic-Director, object relations theorists-Mahler, video lectures presented by the APA, and the writings of other psychiatrists.

Since late 1996 to early 1998, she was hospitalized over 20 times. She says, "Being though the 'mental health machine' is what drove me looking for answers as to the 'treatment' I was receiving. One expert MD said that what happened to me was the worst he had seen short of beating me."

On The Border
This is a Borderline Recovery Support area - open to people with BPD as long as they are willing to stay focused on living healthier and happier lives.  It is also called "On The Border."
